The permanent exhibition "History with Continuation" offers a look at the landmark events and projects of the Ural design school from the 1960s to the present day through the eyes of its participants - designers, and in the past - designers.

Each part of the exposition tells about different stages of the formation of the design school in the Urals.

"Technical Aesthetics of VNIITE" is an exhibition-interview where personal stories and impressions of Soviet designers plunge into the atmosphere of creativity under the Iron Curtain, help to understand the essence of design activity and its significance for society. This section will present some of the industrial designs developed by the designers of UF VNIITE, some of which have been put into production.

“From industrial art to design” is a story that reveals the stages of design development in the Urals through the prism of the educational process at the beginning at the Sverdlovsk Architectural Institute, and today at the Ural State University of Architecture and Art, whose teachers and graduates have been engaged in theoretical and practical advancement for many years domestic design.

Heads of the departments of industrial design, environmental design, graphic design and fashion design present their areas, talk about approaches to the educational process necessary for the formation of high-level specialists, share plans and expectations. Models made by students as part of the curriculum clearly demonstrate the words of the teachers "Design strategies of the future" - the final stage, telling about modern trends in design and the prospects for its development in the future. Flash - interviews with leading Ural designers, a selection of design projects  introduces ideas about the strategies for the development of creative industries and the role of man in the world of digital technologies.
